Built in 1898, Story Chapel resembles a 15th century English parish church.
The exterior is red-brown sandstone, while the interior features Gothic detailing: stone walls, a carved wooden ceiling, and a wood pulpit and pews.
Its architect, Willard T. Sears, also designed Boston’s famed Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
McPartland Corporation collaberated with McGinley Kalsow & Associates, Inc. Architects and Preservation Planners to construct a porte-cochère.
We constructed the porte-cochère with reclaimed douglas fir beams originally cut over 70 years ago.
All beams were hand milled to their finished specifications, stained and assembled by McPartland Corporation.
